Poll Q: How Much Polish Do You Own?

After adding three new polishes to my collection (and subsequently running out of room to store them), I wondered to myself “Just HOW much nail polish do I own?!” Above is exactly that – my insane (and growing) nail polish collection. I’ve officially surpassed being able to buy a polish without pondering “Hmm, do I have this shade?”.
Tonight I counted out my polishes, and the grand total is… 65!!! Including 2 minis and 2 nail art bottles. If someone had asked me to guess, I would have said 30-something. I’m almost appalled at myself, so I must ask… how much polish do you have?!

Revlon Sparkling & Essie A Cut Above
I’ve been hitting the glitter trend hard (like most), and I finally caved and got Essie’s A Cut Above. I already had its’ dupe, Revlon Sparkling, but couldn’t resist seeing how they really compared. I got an in store, $2-off Essie polish at Bed Bath & Beyond (ANY color, get it girls!), so I got this rose gold/pinky sparkle shade as well as Smokin’ Hot, an opaque muted purple that is right up my alley. So, how do the polishes compare?

This is umpteenth time I’ve said this, but – I’m a HUGE Essie fan! I don’t know if it’s the quirky names, the interesting shapes bottle, or the white caps… I just always gravitate towards their section first when polish shopping. They have released the up and coming shades for spring, and I am as giddy as a school girl! (more…)

I really liked my Android, and we had a good run… but I had to upgrade to a iPhone to see what the fuss is all about! I am MAC crazy, and the phone was all that was missing. Instagram is definitely my favorite app so far, since it wasn’t available for the Droid. Also, I love the front camera! No more awkward posing in front of the mirror, or hoping you got the picture. Anyway, enough babbling. If you have any iPhone app suggestions, please let me know! I def want to make the most out of my new baby
