I have three teenage girl cousins, ages 14, 16 & 18, that are into the whole punk rock – emo thing. For Christmas I got them all a gift card to Hot Topic and because I loath giving gift cards by themselves, I decided to make these wild child frames to go with them.

First and foremost: Happy Holidays and National Exchange-Your-Gift-Day (or simply made it up). Luckily I only had one gift worth exchanging– the Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash I reviewed last week! My best friend knows me as well (if not better) than I know myself, so it was funny to have received it twice. Secondly: It feels good to be back to blogging! I missed sharing photos and doing beauty reviews, but really enjoyed the family and friend time. (more…)

I finished y Christmas shopping today! While waiting in line to buy my last item at Hallmark, I came across these adorable dolls! My best friend has a few of these tiny-yarn dolls and I absolutely love them, so I was pumped to find them for myself. I was torn between getting “Fairy God Mother” and “Princess”, but of course Princess won in the end, mostly for the caption:
Princess- Helps you believe in yourself when everyone is out to steal your crown.
It was a ball-chain for attaching to keys, but feel free to hang it from your rearview mirror or prop it up on your desk! Find more of these little creatures here.

Marc Jacobs Roller Ball Trio
Once again, beauty snuck into my graduation (lucky me!). I love getting gift sets from Sephora or Ulta for Christmas, birthdays, and other holidays– especially from beauty and fashion savvy women like my sister in law. I love being surprised, and receiving items I’ve drooled over while window shopping. I don’t buy too much fragrance, so I was ecstatic when I opened this.
Mini Christmas Tree Cupcakes
20 DecChristmas is one of my favorite holidays. I look forward to seeing all of the houses dressed up with glistening lights and holiday decorations. I love coming up with creative ways to wrap presents, listening to Christmas music, spending time with family and friends and of course the sweets!! One of my favorite and easiest recipes is the Mini Christmas Tree Cupcakes.

On my THIRD try, I finally got my hands on the latest and greatest by Urban Decay: The Naked 2 Palette! “Naked” is very much the trend these days (not literally, keep your pants on!), I’ve seen MANY copy cat “Naked” palettes done by Ulta, Pop, Physian’s Formula, and many more. Urban Decay is my favorite brand, so of course I think theirs is best, plus it was the original! (more…)
