I kept it pretty modest today at my first trip to Ulta in months. While I usually grab, grab, grab, it’s harder at Ulta since they receive newer items after Sephora, and I’m all about what’s up and coming. On the same token, it gives me a chance to get those items that I wasn’t so sure about when they first came out. Today was a mixture of new items and cult favorites.

I was SO happy that Sheer Glitz was selected to receive and review a complimentary Influenster Love VoxBox! For those unfamiliar with Influenster, its an online “community of trendsetters invited to share their lifestyles and show their influence to qualify for personalized product shipments, special rewards and exclusive deals from the brands they love.” Suits me quite well, don’t cha think? I got a “$25 off when you spend $50 card” from Delia’s recently, and being on a budget, I wanted to stick to as close to $50 as possible. I also wanted to get the most bang for my buck, so I challenged myself to get the best deal I could. My other challenge was to avoid looking like the other girls shopping at Delia’s: 15 years old and a size 000. The clothes seem to have immatured since my last visit, so it took me about an hour to make my final selection. How’d I do?
I mentioned in my Sheer Trending November post that I’ve been loving legwarmers, but not quite sure how to accessorize them. I did some research last night and found some cute ideas, here’s my first round-about with them before class today:

I’ve only worn legwarmers once –to yoga class– but I wanted to find a sneaker to appropriate them with since I can be a sneaker whore (and in case I want to have another legwarmer rem-devue at LA Fitness). The End!
If any of you also follow Urban Decay on Facebook, you’ll know they have been teasing their fans with a new something (I think palette) coming out as part of their Naked collection. This is the 2nd or 3rd teaser they posted, and I scroll through the comments to see what everyone else thinks it may be.
I noticed as usual, people were simply complaining how they couldn;t find the first Naked palette, that it was “impossible to get”, or that fans should get first dibs on receiving their make-up (not sure how this would work out, but i’m all for it). I saw several comments about girls who could not find the Naked Palette still, which hit shelves almost 18 months ago! It reminded me of all the past comments I’ve read, on stuff like Urban Decay’s Book of Shadows, where girls are simply yelping “IT WAS SOLD OUT, HELP!”. So take a few deep breaths, and I’ll help make sure you don’t miss out on another fan-favorite again.
