Cucumber, Lemon, & Mint Spa Water
We all know how good water is for you (we do, right?), so what better way to fancy it up and add some color (and vitamins!) than by making Spa Water!
For this super simple spa water, I sliced up half a large cucumber, one lemon, and about a handful of mint leaves. Throw into a beverage dispenser with ice, steep for 30 minutes, and enjoy!
April Birchbox: Going Green
This month’s Birchbox is all about nature’s beauty. It’s jammed packed with natural ingredients, a healthy hair product, and an “optimistic new fragrance”. I have been a tough critic with my Birchboxes lately as the past few months haven’t been that thrilling (sorry BB!), but perhaps spring brings something excitng? 
Since I have a ton of stuff I’ve been meaning to review, but quite honestly haven’t had the time. I thought I’d add a a little SPRING teaser here for future reviews! I’ll start reviewing these in the next week or so, as I get more acclimated to the 9-5 routine.
Saving Face
Now that I’ve started my new skin regime with Origins Zero Oil Deep Pore Cleanser, I wanted to get the itty-bits leftover in my original tube. It was beyond squeezing, but I learned a trick from my mom (and made it even better).

After being asked a few times, and out of my own personal curiosity, i finally wanted to see the difference between the Clarisonic and the Olay Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System. Remember this gem from the 80s? Maybe your mom had it… hey, maybe you even had it! This book by Carole Jackson explores (and designates your own) color analysis, the process of finding colors of clothing and makeup to match a person’s complexion, eye color, and hair color. Beauty Supply Haul
Spending problem? Maybe. Shopping Problem? Definitely. My recent discounted items from a local beauty supply store, for amateurs to pros. And no license needed to get in! As usual, I ended up in the nail aisle. One thing I’ll tell you about beauty supply stores: They usually have those last-season, hard-to-get-except-on-eBay nail shades you nearly forgot about!
